With no sporting background Jenna found softball and now has a real passion for it. She says it’s so much fun each week. Jenna is a qualified first aider and looks after the Safeguarding for the team with her level 3 qualification and DBS check
Clare - softball player | under 18’s supporter | softball mum
Claire has a hit any ball attitude and often scores well during adults practice each week due to this. She helps support the coaches on the under 18’s GB team. The team wouldn’t be the same with out her.
Sarah - softball player | softball mum
Sarah gives practice her all and often brings her whole family. She supports her daughter in her softball adventures with youth teams and often steps in to help other teams when they are a lady player down.
Adam - softball player | web designer | softball dad
Adam gives 100% at practice and encourages his daughter to do the same. Adam has helped the club put together a website to help us promote our team and gain new players.
Matt W- softball player
With a cricket background Matt brings transferable skills to the softball diamond. He enjoys the exercise and social nature of the team .

With a baseball background and a passion for America Mike has been a great team player. He always comes to practice with a smile.

The youth players - under 18’s
We are lucky to have some under 18’s who join us each week to train alongside the adults. They bring fresh energy and enthusiasm to the field while picking up skills and wisdom from the seasoned players. We hope to get a local under 18’s team going soon so they don't have to travel to Manchester or beyond to train with their peers.
Lucas
Lucas began playing softball at 15 with Lytham St Annes Softball Club. His dedication earned him a spot on the GB national team for the European Championships and with the Eagles in the Great Britain Fastpitch League. With support from coaches and teammates, he developed essential skills and confidence, gaining valuable experience against top European players, and has become a respected figure among his peers.
